The Member Organisations

Find out who you're working with

Each of the members of the Collective are amazing organisations in their own right, having a hugely positive impact on their local community.

You can find out more about the individual organisations and their specialisms below.

Doncaster Alcohol Services

Over 35 years' experience supporting Doncaster

Doncaster Alcohol Services is the lead partner in The Wellbeing Collective. They pride themselves on supporting businesses to improve the wellbeing of their staff, offering counselling services and being experts in community-led design.

DAS's vision is to ensure that every individual in Doncaster has the skills, awareness and confidence to make effective choices about their usage of alcohol and other drugs.

DAS specialises in supporting businesses with substance misuse related training and policy improvement as well as supporting Third Sector colleagues with business strategy, funding and mentoring.

AgeUK Doncaster

Taking the fear out of ageing

AgeUK Doncaster is a staple community organisation, delivering many valuable services for older people and working in partnership with healthcare services across Doncaster.

AgeUK Doncaster's vision is that Doncaster is a better place to age. As well as working with the local community to achieve this vision, they also contribute to many important decision making Boards related to wellbeing across Doncaster.

As a member of the collective they specialise in helping businesses be more age-aware, assisting individuals with retirement planning and working on self-esteem in an ageing workplace.

b:friend

Ending loneliness, together

b:friend is a true hero in our sector, growing from just an idea only a few years ago into a mainstay in the lives of many older people.

b:friend offer opportunities for local people to form connections with isolated neighbours who often have no other form of social support. They also offer fun social groups for older people with the mantra "bingo is bullshit!".

As part of the collective they specialise in workplace volunteering programmes, tackling/identifying isolation and helping you identify innovative ways to fulfill your corporate social responsibility.

Live Inclusive

Access to Independence

Live Inclusive work tirelessly to ensure that people in South Yorkshire can live independent lives, no matter their circumstances.

Live Inclusive is an organisation of disabled people firmly rooted in the Disability Movement. They work to the Social Model of Disability which defines disability in terms of negative attitudes and discrimination caused by a society which fails to meet the needs of people with impairments.

As members of the collective they specialise in offering businesses disability audits and helping them to make sure they are as inclusive as possible.

Mind Doncaster

For better mental health

Doncaster Mind believe that no one should have to face a mental health difficulty alone.  Whether you are stressed, anxious, depressed or in a crisis, they're here to listen and offer support. They won’t give up until everyone experiencing a mental health difficulty gets the support they need and deserve.

As members of the collective they specialise in supporting businesses to be more aware of mental health in the workplace and supporting leaders and policy setters to incorporate mental health support at the earliest possible stage.
